We are about to talk about religion. These are my opinions. I encourage you to believe what you want, tune in to what resonates with you, and decide for yourself.
Because of our programming we have A LOT of road blocks and sneaky mind-control in this area. All the thinking and talking around spirituality has been tightly controlled for millennia. That’s by design. Hence, this can be a complex, heated conversation. Also totally by design, so that we all get our feelings hurt and just assume not discuss it. This is perhaps the strongest fail safe in place to keep us from escaping The Control Matrix/Prison Pyramid where we’re told that institutions give us our power and not the other way around. The opposite of what Jesus said.
The great news is, we’re in a new time now. The Great Awakening is here. Gone are the days of “it’s easier to lie to someone than for them to admit that they’ve been lied to.” Gone are the days of leading with our egos and clinging to the lies we’ve been told.
Moving forward, it’s important to not only check your ego at the door, and open your mind to new more nuanced ways of thinking, but to take inventory of what you may be clinging to, and consider who told you those things, and why. Why they wanted you to build an identity for yourself out of lifelong association with their institution. It’s time to honestly look at what we are learning about those institutions and the people who’ve run them, the ones who’ve controlled the spiritual conversation. It’s time to look at and admit what they stood to gain by you thinking the way they’ve told you to think.
Above all it is way past time we all learn to tune in to what resonates inside our own hearts, minds and souls, and turn away from what no longer does. Understand that the feedback loop of the institutions of the world is meant to keep you locked in the prison pyramid they benefit from and designed to discourage you from thinking and feeling on your own.

Being raised Catholic, attending Catholic school all my life and growing up in a funeral home (whole other blog post), living in a multi-cultural area, I was surrounded all day everyday with not just Catholicism but all the institutionalized religions of the world. I observed that during times such as burying a loved one people clung to their religion like a little half-inflated life raft in a squalling sea, their helpless and desperate eyes burned into my mind from a young age.
I always had the same thought. I wondered, if their religion was really working, why they all looked so utterly terrified at the death of their loved one. Death, after all, is as natural to our existence as birth. If their religions were really giving them the full truth about what this existence actually is, they wouldn’t be looking and feeling so lost right now. As I observed family after family come through the funeral home, day after day, year after year, I was always looking to see a tranquility about them, a peaceful knowing that their religions promise them. It never seemed to be there, and I always found it odd.
If you’re a good parent you know that your job is to work yourself out of a job. Children are born dependent, grow to become inter-dependent, and then (if you’ve done your job) independent, self-sustaining, capable of meeting the challenges of life on their own.
The goals of our spiritual guides and teachers should be the same. And let’s be honest, they’re not. You not needing them has never been, and will never be the goal of ANY institution, religious or otherwise. The goal of religious and all institutions is not your self-sufficiency, or your independent thriving. That would be counter intuitive to their very existence. They are, by design, set up to create and continue to generate the need for their own existence. There are a lot of ways to enslave people, this is one of them. And this is when you know something is a part of The Master-Slave Paradigm.
If you’ve ever been in a dysfunctional, co-dependent relation you know all about the manipulative trap abusers set up of needing to be needed thus manufacturing the illusion that you need them. In a word, this is abuse. It’s about controlling you. Control is the opposite of free will. Since free will is the truth, anything that seeks to control you has to be built on lies. Everything with this dynamic is of the Master-Slave Paradigm, the false world we’re currently watching go up in glorious flames. Just like Big Pharma needs us to be sick, Hollywood needs us to be unfulfilled, the Catholic Church needs us to be irredeemable sinners, Washington needs our society to be broken, the Federal Reserve needs us to be in debt. Their very existence depends upon us believing the lies they tell us about their necessity in our lives, and the lie of our weakness without them.
